I work in construction and just recently took over title of inventory management. There is no previous organization and no program in place. I am looking to a software program that will help me track what kind of hardware we have and where on which job in what city it is located? Any suggestions

A good solution for you might be inFlow Inventory. They have a free edition that's free for life (not a 30 or 60 day trial) and has tons of features. Also, on their forum I think have other customers in the construction industry.
